WTS Paradigm Volunteers for Habitat for Humanity Project

August 10th, 2009 by Editor

Employees for WTS Paradigm, a supplier of fenestration software for dealers and manufacturers, volunteered on Saturday, August 1, to help their local Madison, Wis., Habitat for Humanity chapter. WTS paid for all of the windows in one of the local habitat projects, but many WTS employees volunteered their Saturday to go on-site and install the windows themselves.

“Volunteering for Habitat for Humanity was a great experience for our employees to give back to the community and the industry we serve,” says Pete Johnson, configuration development manager and DesignPoint product lead. “We were able to meet the family that we were building the home for, and also able to gain direct experience on the new home window installation process first hand.”

The WTS Paradigm employees divided into project teams including window preppers, installers and finishers. In total, WTS Paradigm installed more than a dozen windows.

  1. Congrats and thanks to the WTS employees who pitched in for Habitat. It’s a great organization. Hope that some continue to work for Habitat in the future. For some inspiration, check out this video — ahamoment.com/pg/moments/view/4910 — the “aha moment” of one Habitat volunteer and why she stays involved.

    All the best,
