Window World Initiative Aims to Help Veterans Establish New Careers

National window replacement company, Window World, is starting a new program called Careers for Heroes—an online job-hiring platform that will match eligible veterans to available positions at Window World franchises across the country.

The company expressed its sympathy toward veterans entering the civilian workforce after serving. Translating skills learned during military service into a new career is difficult and that thought is often reciprocated by employers according to the company.

That is why Window World is welcoming veterans interested in starting a career to use its new platform to apply to any of the participating franchise locations nationwide. Through Careers for Heroes, interested veterans can receive training and support to help them transition into a new career.

“We have many beloved veterans in our Window World Family, and we value them tremendously,” says Window World chairman and CEO, Tammy Whitworth. “Veterans have already given so much to serve our country, and we want to help them as much as possible as they leap into civilian life.”
