Window World, a North Wilkesboro, N.C.-based replacement window franchise company, recently announced the sale of its 22 millionth window—a milestone that company officials say demonstrates growth amid what they describe as challenging economic times.

The company reports it has sold and installed one million windows in the last nine months, a mark it has reached annually for 12 years.
“Surpassing this milestone is a testament to the hard work our dedicated franchisees put in every day to provide exceptional service to their customers,” says Window World chairperson and CEO Tammy Whitworth.

The company started as a roadside stand in 1995 and has since grown to a national franchise with 225 locations in 48 states, ranking number one in the retailer segment of the J.D. Power 2022 U.S. Windows and Patio Doors Satisfaction study for the sixth time. Window World also ranked on this year’s Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500 list for the third year in a row, coming in at number 384.
