Window World President Dana Deem Retires

January 8th, 2015 by Editor

Window World senior executive Dana Deem has retired after 10 years with the company.

At the annual Window World national sales meeting last year, Deem announced his intention to retire, officially resigning as Window World president effective January 2, 2015.

Under Deem’s guidance, the company hit several milestones, including the sale of its 10 millionth window in 2014.

“It is rare to find someone with Dana’s personal and professional attributes,” says Tammy Whitworth, Window World chairman, CEO and interim president. “His contributions to our customers and employees the past decade have better positioned Window World for the company’s evolving future. The entire Window World family thanks him for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best.”

Following retirement from a 21-year career in sales, purchasing and management at Lowe’s, Deem returned to work at Window World in 2004. Charged with overseeing the company’s sales strategy and operations, he was later named president in 2011, contributing significantly to Window World’s steady growth and success over the past three years, according to a press release.

Though his future with the company is ending, he sees good things on the horizon for his former workplace.

“Approaching the 20-year-mark, I’m confident Window World will continue to build on the remarkable success achieved thus far; keeping its commitment to the homeowner at the forefront,” says Deem.
