Wincore Windows and Doors Opens New Manufacturing FacilityJune 18th, 2021 by Editor
Wincore® Windows and Doors, manufacturer of vinyl windows and fiberglass entry doors, recently opened a new 67,000-square-foot manufacturing facility located in Mineral Wells, W.Va., less than eight miles from the company’s headquarters and other production facilities in Parkersburg.
Built to keep up with significant increasing product demand, the new facility will manufacture more than 30 different fiberglass entry door styles with a variety of glass options, along with multiple hardware choices and finishes to create fully finished entry door systems. The facility will also produce impact-resistant fiberglass entry door systems for homes located in coastal areas.
Wincore president, Clark Davis, stated the new facility has been a strategic priority for the company’s continued success in the fiberglass entry door market.
“The new Mineral Wells facility is an exciting step for all of us at Wincore,” he said. “The close proximity of the new facility to our other facility, helps us leverage our operations to not only increase our production capabilities, but also to continue to meet our customers’ demands with precision, skill, and consistent, dependable product delivery,” he continued.
In May, Wincore expanded their Swainsboro, Ga., operations by 100,000-square-feet, adding an additional $5+ million in production equipment and more than 100 employees. Company-wide growth is more than just a smart investment, according to Davis.
“In a time when many businesses are thrilled about just returning to ‘normal’, we plan to go beyond that. The investments in our people and our facilities are really investments in our customer partners –exceeding their expectations with every door and window we make. These new expansions help create a platform where we can continue to do that, and we are excited about the opportunities ahead of us,” Davis stated.
