With COVID-19 placing a damper on industry events, there’s no need to miss out. Many are “going virtual,” including two of the industry’s biggest: GlassCon Global-Glass Expo VE and GlassBuild Connect.

With the cancellation of GlassBuild, officials announced GlassBuild Connect — a virtual “event” that lasts throughout the month of September. Starting September 1, the venue includes everything from on-demand demos, videos and presentations, to products and info provided by suppliers. Meanwhile, as the industry’s newest event and online gathering, GlassCon Global-Glass Expo VE takes place September 9-10, offering the popular GlassCon Global educational program with Glass Expos—all through one virtual meeting place. Partners supporting the event will have virtual booth spaces where they engage with attendees through live chat functions, while networking lounges, resource centers and other interactive venues create even more opportunities for connecting.

The September edition of [DWM] will include full previews of both shows—including products. If your company plans to exhibit at either of these events (for advertisers in [DWM]’s July-August or September 2020 editions, exhibiting at GlassCon Global-Glass Expo VE is FREE), please send product info and a high-res image to dvass@glass.com.

Deadline for submission is Thursday, July 30.
