Western Window, Thompson Creek Named Best Places to Work

Western Window Systems of Phoenix, Ariz., and Thompson Creek Windows of Lanham, Md., were both named to the  Inc. magazine Best Places to Work list for 2018.

The 2018 Inc. Best Workplaces Awards assessed applicants on the basis of benefits and perks offered, as well as employee responses to a survey that was developed in partnership with Quantum Workplace of Omaha, Neb.

Both Western Window Systems and Thompson Creek were selected in the category of large employers, which are those with between 250 and 499 workers.

Western Window Systems manufactures doors and windows. It also designs insulated glass and full-wall door systems.

“As long as I’ve been at Western Window Systems, our culture has been the glue that bonds us together as one team — whether we’re solving problems, helping our partners, or just having fun,” says Scott Gates, president and CEO of Western Window Systems. “This recognition is a reflection of that culture and it’s what makes Western Window Systems such an incredible place to work.”

Thompson Creek manufactures and installs residential replacement windows in the Washington, D.C., region.

Power Home Remodeling Group also made Inc.’s list of Best Places to Work.
