If a loyal customer is best for business, what can a sales representative do to earn the loyalty of a customer?

They must remain curious about the customer and their business.  They must be a good listener who is honest, respectful and fair.  They must be creative, resourceful and generous.  They must show regret when a mistake is made.  And they must always be truly grateful for the customer’s business.

Simply put, the sales representative must constantly practice good behavior to earn the loyalty of a customer:

  1. Be curious
  2. Be a good listener
  3. Be honest
  4. Be respectful
  5. Be fair
  6. Be creative
  7. Be resourceful
  8. Be generous
  9. Be sorry
  10. Be thankful
