ThermoLite was chosen as the winner in the replacement installation application category and Tempco Products Co. won in the multi-family/light commercial installation application category.

ThermoLite’s customer creatively repurposed a closed elementary school into an apartment complex in Moscow, Pa. The design challenge was the extra-large window openings, and thecompany chose a glass package that met the Energy Star criteria utilizing Guardian glass.

“In collaborating with our customer, we determined that a combination of our TrustGard single hung structurally mulled to a transom would fill their need,” says John Mesko, president of ThermoLite.

Tempco’s project, an extended living facility, featured their Series 314 Avenger window line including deadlites and awnings. All windows for this project utilize the company’s energy efficient T2IG insulating glass package.
