Herman Gabel

“Scot’s enthusiasm and experience in operational excellence, along with a proven track record of success in multiple industries give him the tools we were looking for to lead our operations group as we strive for continued improvement in all areas,” said Tony Mehringer, Stürtz president and CEO.

Herman Gabel was added in 2021 as service manager and will continue to lead the company’s field service and start-up support efforts. Gabel is a veteran of the US Marine Corps and brings more than 20 years of industrial sales and service experience.

Jason Martz

Earlier this year, Gabel was joined by Jason Martz who took on the role of customer service manager and is responsible for technical phone support and spare parts. Martz previously worked as a field service technician for Stürtz from 2000-2005. From 2005 until 2022, Martz served as maintenance and EHS manager for a large window manufacturer in northeast Ohio.

“As Stürtz continues to grow, it is imperative that we continue to improve in all areas. Servicing our customers after the sale is critical to our and our customers’ continued success. Herman and Jason bring unique experiences and skill sets to their respective positions and are committed to working together to make our after sales support the best in the industry,” said Mehringer.
