VEKA announced the retirement of 25-year employee and North American board member, Chuck Spaulding, vice president and chief operating officer.

Spaulding was first employed with VEKA on November 3, 1986. His contributions to the PVC extrusion industry are numerous and he has been instrumental in the successful expansion of VEKA to four North American sites, according to VEKA. His last day will be August 31, 2011.

The company also announced Spaulding’ssuccessor as the new vice president of operations and chief operating officer, Erik Shay.Shay worked in different operations management roles at Certainteed.
