Soft-Lite Windows Hires New Vice President of Manufacturing

Soft‐Lite Windows recently has appointed Cliff Langdon to the position of vice president of manufacturing. In his new position, Langdon will oversee several departments, including production, shipping and engineering.

Langdon comes to Soft‐Lite with more than 15 years of experience in the door and window industry. For the past 11 years, Langdon served as vice president of operations for Sunrise Windows and prior to that, he worked as the plant manager for Great Lakes Window. According to the press release, his areas of expertise include operations and plant management with an emphasis on lean manufacturing, continuous improvement philosophies, strategic planning, process engineering and cross‐functional team leadership.

“Cliff is a hands‐on leader who has a passion for excellence,” says Roy Anderson, president. “He brings with him a wide variety of manufacturing backgrounds that will help Soft‐Lite maintain our high quality standards, improve communications and streamline the flow of our production processes.”
