The Pella plant in Murray, Ky., was damaged after midnight today when a severe storm blew debris onto the facility’s roof, turned over two rooftop air conditioning units and ripped aluminum siding from a shipping area of the building.

“Fortunately, no one was injured or working in the areas of our facility directly impacted by the storm as it rolled into Calloway County in Western Kentucky during the night, and no apparent structural damage was sustained to our facility,” says company spokesperson Kathy Krafka Harkema. “Power remains on at the Pella Murray Operations, so team members are able to continue manufacturing Pella® Windows and Doors today to meet the needs of our customers, as storm cleanup continues.”

Earlier this month, a Lincoln Windows plant was affected by a tornado that went through the area.
