Thompson Creek Window Company is helping to build homes for veterans as a way to honor them for their service.

The Lanham, Md.-based company, in conjunction with Home for our Troops, is donating and installing windows and gutters on brand-new homes for two severely injured military veterans – Army Sgt. Steven Curry of Nokesville, Va., and Marine Cpl. Marcus Dandrea of Haymarket, Va.

β€œIt is truly a humbling experience to be a part of rebuilding the lives of these brave servicemen,” said Thompson Creek CEO Rick Wuest in a statement.

Homes for Our Troops is a privately funded non-profit organization that builds specially adapted, mortgage-free homes nationwide for severely injured veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives.

In honor of Military Appreciation Month in May, Thompson Creek will also be donating $25 to Homes for Our Troops for every window purchased up to $10,000.
