RW Specialties LLC announced recently that it has renamed itself as RW America. The change arrives after the company acquired American Building Products in December 2022, resulting in what officials call a “successful consolidation” of building supply distribution companies.

Over the past few months, RW America has been working to unite the two teams, systems and processes, with a goal to create a stronger, more efficient and more customer-focused company, officials said.

Headquartered in Denver, RW America now operates throughout North America with a portfolio that includes DuPont, Fortress, Heatilator, Jeld-Wen, Lynden Door and Kitchen Kompact.

“Our new name reflects our commitment to being a leading supplier of building materials in North America,” said Rob McCrae, CEO of RW America. “It also represents our dedication to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. We believe that our combined expertise, resources and capabilities will enable us to offer a wider range of products and services that meet the needs of our customers across America.”
