Roto Ranked as World Market Leader in Hardware

February 14th, 2018 by Editor

German business magazine WirtschaftsWoche has named Roto Frank a 2018 global market leader among German companies for door and window hardware systems.

The ranking is a result of an independent analysis performed by Switzerland’s University of St. Gallen. Christoph Müller of the HBM Entrepreneurship School of the University of St. Gallen told the magazine that to be recognized as world market leaders, German companies must meet strict criteria:

– They must have the highest or second highest-market share in their segment;
– Their annual sales must be more than €50 million ($62 million);
– They must generate at least half of those sales abroad, and;
– They must be active on at least three continents.

Since Roto Frank was founded, the company says it has sold around half a billion turn-only/tilt-and-turn sets in more than 55 countries.

Other fenestration-related companies in the WirtschaftsWoche rankings include Veka, Profine, Hafele, Elumatec, Konrad Hornschuch and Gretsch-Unitas.
