Chris Dimou, president and CEO of Roto Frank America, along with Adam Bristol, the company’s manufacturing engineer, served as judges for the 2020 Connecticut Invention Convention (CIC), the awards for which were presented on Sunday, June 14. The CIC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational program that helps develop and enhance critical thinking and problem solving in kids through invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Roto Frank of America was a contributing sponsor to the 2020 CIC Convention.

Nearly 600 young inventors participated, despite a [word] school year that ended in distance learning for most students across the country. 108 winners from 76 Connecticut schools will advance to the National Invention Convention and Entrepreneurship Expo (NICEE), which will now be held virtually and the awards for which will be announced on July 2.
