Richard Gillman Pleads Not Guilty**Updated November 25

Richard Gillman pleaded not guilty today before Judge William Lacy in the Cook County Criminal Court, according to Tandra R. Simonton, Deputy Communications Director, State’s Attorney’s Office. The charges included mail fraud and money laundering, when serving as CEO of Republic Windows and Doors.

The arraignment was scheduled to take place yesterday but was postponed until today as the defendant requested a judge substitution, according to Simonton.

His next court date is scheduled for January 20, 2010.
