Quanex and Advanced Screen Systems Inc. (ASSI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Unique Home Designs Inc., announced they have entered into an exclusive manufacturing agreement. Under the new partnership, Quanex will fabricate and distribute ASSI’s proprietary screen systems and develop new applications to capitalize on what company officials say is a growing demand for high-performance door and window screens.

“By partnering with ASSI, we are able to offer our customers innovative high-performance screen solutions that meet the growing demand for safety, security and durability in residential and commercial buildings,” said Bob Daniels, president of North American Fenestration for Quanex.

Officials for Quanex said ASSI has established itself as “the leader in this emerging market with proprietary designs” and patented applications.
