Lund to Retire, Galvin to Lead Andersen Corp.
Jay Lund will retire from his role as CEO of Andersen Corp. at the end of this year. The company’s board of directors approved Chris Galvin, current president and chief operating officer, to succeed Lund as president and CEO, effective January 1, 2023.
Lund has been with Andersen for 37 years, including nearly 12 years as its CEO. He joined the company in 1985 and served in a variety of roles before being named CEO in 2011 and chairman of the board in 2013. During his tenure as CEO, Lund has led the privately-held company through what officials refer to as “unprecedented growth,” nearly tripling annual revenue through geographic and market segment expansion. Under his leadership, the company also completed several strategic acquisitions aimed at expanding its product portfolio, growing the Renewal by Andersen retail business and vertically integrating key technologies. The company also exited the vinyl hollow core segment of the market through a significant divestiture, to focus on its premium product offerings.
Officials say Lund, as a champion for diversity, transformed the culture of Andersen while building on a longstanding philosophy of working “all together” to the benefit of customers, employees, shareholders and communities.
Lund served on the Andersen Corporate Foundation Board of Directors for 17 years, as well as several corporate, civic and philanthropic boards and capital campaigns, including the Board of Regents of St. Olaf College, where he currently serves as board chair.
Over the course of nearly 20 years with Andersen, Galvin has held leadership roles across all areas of the company, including corporate finance, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain operations and general management. In 2019, he became president of the Andersen Division and in 2021 was named the company’s president and chief operating officer.
“Chris is an inspiring leader, with deep knowledge of the business and industry. He is widely respected by the Andersen team for his character, intellect, kindness and work ethic,” said Lund.
Lund will maintain his position as chair of the company’s board of directors.

Wilson is an experienced supply chain and operations executive, who, prior to his new role, led Water Innovations’ global supply chain.
