PGT Innovations Announces Executive Promotions

PGT Innovations announced several executive promotions. Mike Wothe was promoted to executive vice president of operations. Debbie LaPinska was named chief customer officer, with responsibilities for sales and marketing. Rachel Evans was promoted to senior vice president of human resources, and Bob Keller was named senior vice president of research and development, product innovation and technology.

Eric Kowalewski now serves as president of operations, Southeast region, and Mark Yeandle was promoted to president of operations, Western region—both reporting to Wothe.

As the company has increased its size to 5,500 employees, “These executive moves allow for a better span of control to manage strengths and support our growth, as well as demonstrate the effectiveness of our succession planning process,” said president and CEO Jeff Jackson.

Harrison Joins ODL as EVP of HR

ODL Inc. recently announced the appointment of Jaclyn Harrison to executive vice president of human resources. Harrison reports to ODL’s president and chief operating officer, David Klein, managing a team in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, UK and China.

Harrison joins ODL from Bissell Homecare Inc., where she was the global vice president of human resources and business transformation. Prior to that, she worked at Gartner, a technology research and consulting firm, and Perrigo, a global pharmaceutical company, in roles including HR, information technology and operations.

“Talent is today’s winning currency,” said Harrison. “Our efforts to find, build and enable the capabilities of teammates at ODL is critical for taking this company to the next level.”

Roto North America Welcomes Coma to Customer Service

Roto North America welcomed Renee Coma to its customer service team. Prior experience with SAP gives Coma an edge in assisting customers with quick and thorough information, company officials said.

Coma’s role includes working with customers to provide support in the areas of ordering, lead times, product availability and shipping details. She is also responsible for processing credit applications and contributing to new customer set ups.

Deceuninck North America Hires New Central Regional Sales Manager

Deceuninck North America announced the addition of Chuck Kuchinick as its new central region sales manager. The addition follows the retirement of long-time regional sales manager Dennis Brady.

Kuchinick has served in a variety of roles in the glass and fenestration industries for more than 25 years, including as regional sales manager, director of sales, and vice president of sales at former employers that include window, storefront and curtainwall manufacturers, a glass fabricator, and an organization pioneering thermochromic and electrochromic dynamic glass technologies.

“Chuck will utilize his vast industry experience to connect with our customers in the central and Eastern regions and serve as a valuable resource for them,” said Greg Koch, vice president of sales and marketing.

Kuchinick’s territory includes Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

GED Welcomes New R&D Engineering Manager

GED Integrated Solutions (GED) recently hired Kevin Holle as its new R&D engineering manager. Holle returns to GED after serving as a mechanical design engineer for the company early in his career. Since that time he has held numerous engineering positions, including senior engineer at the Harley-Davidson Motor Co., and most recently as engineering manager at Swiss TTP, where he held wide spanning responsibilities for engineering and general management, leading the company as its president.

“Kevin’s extensive technical expertise, innovation and business leadership acumen complements and advances our R&D team capabilities,” says Tim McGlinchy, executive vice president of engineering and R&D.
