Northeast Building Supply of Bridgeport, Conn., a supplier of construction products, has acquired Architectural Building Components of Hackensack, N.J., a distributor of custom wood doors and windows, according to reports from NJBiz and The Bridgeport (Conn.) News.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“This acquisition is definitely a win- win merger,” said Paul Waldman, general manager of Architectural Building Components, in a statement released to both news organizations. “Both companies ultimate goal has always been complete customer satisfaction.  Architectural Building Components has an extremely knowledgeable experienced staff that can assist architects, builders and homeowners with all their fenestration needs.  When you combine this with Northeast Building Supply, who has the infrastructure, a very dedicated staff, owners who are very much respected by their employees and are involved in every aspect of the business, you end up with a company that will make a huge impact in the custom window and door marketplace in the tri-state area.”

Employees at Architectural Building Components will continue the company’s operations at Hackensack and Long Branch, N.J., according to the reports.
