NGA Cancels GlassBuild America

June 22nd, 2020 by Jordan Scott

The National Glass Association (NGA) has canceled GlassBuild America, which was scheduled for September 15-17, 2020 in Las Vegas.

“Like many of you, we are deeply disappointed by the COVID-19 impact on our trade show. While this cancellation puts a temporary pause on a dynamic and highly valued in-person event, it also has a significant financial impact on your nonprofit trade association,” said Nicole Harris, president of the organization in a letter circulating to some exhibitors today.

Harris said the decision was made after discussion with exhibitors, attendees and NGA’s Las Vegas partners. The association is contacting exhibitors and attendees about the cancellation and its plans to transition the show into an online format.

The next GlassBuild America will take place September 13-15, 2021 in Atlanta.
