National Fenestration Products (NFP), a manufacturer of energy-efficient impact doors, windows, entrances and storefronts, recently began operations in Pompano Beach, Fla., servicing a wide range of markets worldwide.

“The principals of NFP have over a century of experience” says Ralph Horta, NFP president. “We have achieved +90 -100 Design Pressures with the combination of the industry’s strongest interlayer, Safety Plus II for the laminated impact glass and insulated laminated impact glass with Air-Tight SmartEdge foam spacer, utilizing the energy efficiency of a high tech warm-edge foam spacer. In addition, NFP is providing metal colors in white, bronze, silver, and wood grain finishes, making the doors and windows and doors look like wood with the durability of aluminum.”

“Today’s market has fundamentally turned toward the retrofit sector,” adds Horta Recognizing this, NFP has tested and passed most its window sizes without jamb anchors, thus eliminating the need to fill the block cavities at the jambs with concrete.
