GED Integrated Solutions (GED), manufacturer of insulating glass (IG) systems, vinyl window systems, and software, continues to grow with new-hires and internal promotions. The company recently announced two internal promotions in the project management and vinyl engineering groups.

Tom Boser has moved into his new role as a project manager in the sales application department reporting to Joe Shaheen, vice president, sales. Boser has been with GED for more than 16 years as a machine assembler. He brought quality control and shipping experience with him when he started with GED. Tyler Kraft also has recently joined the project management team. Kraft joined GED while wrapping up a mechanical engineering degree at The University of Akron. He has focused on manufacturing and systems throughout his internships. A company press release says Kraft is off to a strong start in his new role, and he will serve as a project manager in the sales application department, also reporting to Shaheen.

Anny Lin joined GED in 2019 as a manufacturing process engineer. She has her Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from The University of Akron and is a current MBA student at Kent State University. The company says that throughout her career with GED, Lin has participated in various projects and is a member of GED’s safety team. In April, Lin moved into her new role as a mechanical engineer in the engineering department, reporting to Brian Melik, electrical engineer – vinyl engineering, and Dave Lewis, engineering manager/window fabrication – R&D.
