Monarch Windows and Doors to Close Alabama Location

Monarch Windows and Doors (Monarch), a window and door manufacturer, will be closing its Anniston Ala., location June 15, 2020. According to the state’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) listing, 64 employees will be laid off as a result of the closing.

According to the act, WARN requires companies with at least 50 full-time employees to file a notice of a mass layoff or a closing 90 days prior.

  1. Have four Monarch windows that were improperly installed and not sealed at the bottom. Resulting in separation and water damage to both windows and frames. Company in Anniston, Al closed in June of this year. Windows are supposed be guaranteed for life.
