The Marvin Companies has promoted Christine Marvin to director of corporate strategy. A fourth-generation family member of the family-owned and operated fenestration company, she previously served as the director of marketing for the Marvin Windows and Doors brand.

Christine Marvin will report to Jim Macaulay, chief financial officer and senior vice president of corporate strategy.

“Christine’s experience and industry knowledge are incredible assets to The Marvin Companies,” said Macaulay. “During her time leading marketing for Marvin Windows and Doors, Christine demonstrated both product development and marketing communications leadership, and has her finger on the pulse of industry trends. Those skills and insights are essential to the corporate strategy team and ultimately advancing our entire organization.”

Prior to her work as the director of marketing, Christine Marvin also served as marketing communications manager and group product planning manager at Marvin Windows and Doors. She also served as the territory manager for the company’s West Coast distributor, BMD, Inc.

“I am proud to have the unique opportunity to help lead a business my great-grandfather laid the groundwork for more than 100 years ago. His ingenuity sparked an energy in the second, third and fourth generations, who have dramatically evolved the legacy of the Marvin brands,” said Christine Marvin. “In my new role, I’m fortunate to be able to stand on that heritage while marrying my passion for marketing with strategic planning for The Marvin Companies’ continued long-term growth.”
