TruStile, which began operations in 1995, manufactures made-to-order architectural stile and rail doors for the high-end residential and commercial construction markets.

“TruStile is an outstanding company with a proven track record of quality and craftsmanship that aligns with our values and premier positioning in the marketplace,” says Dan Marvin, Marvin’s recently appointed vice president of business development, in a statement. “The addition of TruStile to our family of brands will expand our product portfolio into other building products categories, and will allow us to combine our knowledge and resources to take advantage of new opportunities that will grow all of our brands successfully.”

Marvin plans to run TruStile as a separate business unit, and it won’t change TruStile’s national dealer network or senior management team. President and CEO Scott Schmid will continue to run the company from Denver.

“We are very excited about becoming part of The Marvin Companies,” says Schmid in a statement.  “We have long admired Marvin as a company and believe that both companies share similar values and approaches to the market.  Combining with Marvin will enable us to accelerate our plans and better achieve our long-term vision. I can’t imagine a better partner for TruStile than Marvin.”

TruStile has about 300 employees at facilities in Denver and Northwood, Iowa. The company had about $40 million in revenue in 2013, according to the Denver Business Journal.

Marvin has more than 4,500 employees at plants across the U.S. The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal estimates the company had $550 million in revenue in 2013.
