LaCantina Doors has teamed up with Architizer to launch a new competition designed specifically for architects, the 2017 Best of LaCantina. Architizer is the largest database for architecture and sourcing building products and home of the global A+Awards.

All architects, interior designers, home builders, developers, interior and residential architects are invited to submit innovative projects they have designed and built using LaCantina doors. Follow this link to submit entries by August 18 to be eligible.

As the framework for entry into any building, doors and windows are the most visible structural details on a piece of architecture. As such, they have the potential to be the most striking part of the design. By incorporating the right kind of materials suited to a project, these elements can change the way a room looks and feels.

“Architects know that you can’t build a great building without great building products,” said Marc Kushner, AIA, the CEO of Architizer. “That is why Architizer is thrilled to partner with LaCantina Doors in honoring great architecture that uses their amazing products.”

The grand prize is a three-day, two-night trip for two to attend and celebrate New York City’s annual architecture and design month, Archtober. The winning designs and projects will also be featured on LaCantinaDoors.com and on Architizer.com and shared with Architizer’s 2 million-plus social media fans.

The competition’s expert panel of judges including Paul Keskeys, managing editor of Architizer, and renowned interior designer Christopher Kennedy will choose a winner by September 12 with an announcement on Architizer.com and lacantinadoors.com.
