IWF Seeks Entries for Challengers Award

IWF, the International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Supply Fair-U.S.A.®, has issues its call for entries for the 2010 Challengers Distinguished Achievement Awards®, The deadline is April 1, 2010, and the winners will be announced during IWF to be held IWF 2010 will August 25-28, 2010, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

The Challengers Award® is known throughout the world as the woodworking industry’s highest honor, recognizing advancements in technology or significant contributions to environmental improvement, according to show organizers. The award focuses on companies that have distinguished themselves by developing innovative technology in products, materials, supplies and services.

The award challenges IWF exhibiting companies to develop revolutionary, creative, ingenious, forward-thinking technology, materials, services or safety devices that advance the industry.

“Entering the competition confirms your commitment to industry innovation, winning validates the value of your product,” says IWF 2010 Challengers Award Committee chairman Richard Campbell.

Presented every two years, The Challengers Award® recognizes seven outstanding exhibiting companies. A panel of judges will review and analyze each entry and decide on the top 20 entries just prior to the Fair. The final judging will take place August 2 and the winners will be announced on August 25, 2010.
