IBS Vegas to Host Presidential Candidates Forum

October 21st, 2015 by Editor

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) will host a forum involving Democratic and Republican presidential candidates during January’s 2016 International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas, right before the crucial Iowa caucuses and the start of election season.

Presented by NAHB and the National Journal, “Building Opportunity: Solutions for the American Dream” will take place on January 20 from 8-10 p.m. ET at the Westgate Resort & Casino, next door to the Las Vegas Convention Center and the IBS exhibit floor.

The event will be co-moderated by Ron Brownstein, editorial director for strategic partnerships at Atlantic Media (the parent company of National Journal) and Jon Ralston, host of Ralston Live on Nevada public TV. Each candidate will appear separately onstage to participate in a discussion with moderators, and will answer questions from members of the audience.

With more than 100,000 builders, remodelers, exhibitors and trade contractors expected to be in Las Vegas for IBS and Design & Construction Week, demand for tickets is expected to be strong. If you are interested in attending the forum, you can enter a drawing for an opportunity to get your seats. The drawing runs until November 30.

Current IBS registrants have already received an email with instructions on how to enter the drawing. Anyone who registers for IBS before 11:59 p.m. on November 30 will be able to enter the drawing when they sign up to attend the show. Enter the drawing today.
