GlassBuild America Returns to Atlanta

Atlanta is the site of GlassBuild America to be held September 17-19 at the Georgia World Congress Center. Hundreds of exhibitors will feature their newest products and developments, from machinery and equipment to hardware and other components used in the manufacturing of doors and windows.

This year’s show will once again feature Express Learning—20-minute sessions that show officials describe as “TED Talks style” presentations. Of particular interest to door and window companies will be:

Tuesday, 2:30 p.m.: The Labor Dilemma: Engage Your Front Line to Improve the Bottom Line

Presented by: Mack and Ria Story of Top Story Leadership

Wednesday, 11 a.m.: Technical and Codes Update

Presented by: Urmilla Sowell, NGA director of technical services and advocacy and Dr. Tom Culp, NGA code consultant

Monday, the show will host the fifth annual Window and Door Dealer Day. The event opens at 8:30 a.m., with a Dealer of the Year Breakfast, before shifting to dealer-oriented programming through 5:30 p.m.

The exhibit hall will be open during the following times:

  • Tuesday, September 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, September 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
