FeneTech’s Tenth Annual User Conference is underwayat the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel.

FeneTech’s Tenth Annual User Conference kicked off last night at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel. The software supplier is also hosting its Second Annual Glass Processing Automation Days (GPAD) this week.

With hints of a surprise unveiling leading up to the conference, Ronald Crowl, FeneTech president, introduced the company’s new Neo software, which was developed based on more than 125 ideas shared by last year’s conference attendees.

Company officials say the latest generation of its software is more flexible than past versions, with an ultra-modern user interface featuring numerous new features and functionality. In addition, Neo offers support for iPad and other mobile tablets. Among this support is a new FeneVision Neo mobile delivery app—a fully native, in-house developed app for iPad to optimize the delivery process of goods to the final customer.

Also with Neo, Fenetech has developed iDashboards for iPads and other tablets, allowing users to monitor their businesses anytime, anywhere.

“You can monitor production even if you’re not in the factory,” said Horst Mertes, FeneTech’s vice president of sales and marketing.

“Apps can run disconnected,” added Matt Buchanan, group software development manager. “The user can continue working and then upload when you are connected.”

The User Conference and GPAD continues through tomorrow. Stay tuned to dwmmag.com for further updates.
