The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has scheduled a webinar for March 26 during which it will address the proposed enhancements to testing and verification for ENERGY STAR qualified products. The webinar will be the first in a series of product-specific discussions, according to the EPA, and will cover program-wide topics that are expected to be of interest to all partners regardless of the products they manufacture or the nature of their partnership with EPA. Product-specific calls will be hosted following the program-wide webinar.

During the webinar, viewers will have the opportunity to learn about the key elements of the enhanced verification program for ENERGY STAR products, including information on proposed new testing requirements, qualification requirements, and plans for implementation.

Registration for the webinar closes on Tuesday, March 23. To register, e-mail ENERGYSTARVerificationProgram@icfi.com with the words “verification call” in the subject line. Registrants will receive details for the call on March 24 and slides that will accompany the discussion will be e-mailed to registrants on March 26, according to the announcement from the EPA.
