Door and Window Market (DWM) magazine won two bronze medals at the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) national awards ceremony last week in Washington, D.C., honoring the staff’s outstanding work in print and video.
Editorial director Tara Taffera and video producer Chris Bunn took home the national bronze for best webcast series, and DWM editor Trey Barrineau received the bronze for best news analysis for “Lights Out for Energy Star? It Could Happen …” from the June-July 2017 issue. Both were also honored with Mid-Atlantic regional gold medals in April.
The national honors capped a record-setting awards season for Key Media & Research (KMR), the parent company of DWM. In all, KMR publications won 13 ASBPE awards at the regional and national level in 2018. In addition to its two national bronze awards, DWM won four regional awards (two gold, one silver and one bronze). USGlass magazine won four regional bronzes.
