Nearly 300 leaders in the New York City regional construction and real estate industry joined Crystal and Chen at the gala affair at Guastavino’s by the 59th Street Bridge in Manhattan, a New York City landmark space.

The fundraiser far surpassed its goal for the evening and raised over $630,000 for the hospital.

“Crystal Windows and I are very proud to support St. Mary’s Kids and the services it provides children who face incredible health challenges,” said Chen.  “I got involved with St. Mary’s after visiting the main hospital facility in Bayside several years ago, and I saw firsthand the dedicated care and hope the staff gives to patients and their families.”

Besides Crystal Windows, the fundraiser was supported by dozens of Crystal business partners.

“I am so pleased that Crystal trade customers, material and service suppliers, and friends – some from as far away as Ontario, South Carolina and Wisconsin – have come together to achieve such a successful fundraiser,” said Chen.

Crystal and the Chen family have been actively involved in many Queens and New York-area non-profit and charitable organizations since the company started in 1990.  In particular, Crystal focuses on educational and art initiatives, and organizations celebrating and preserving the cultural heritage of Taiwan.
