Centennial Windows and Doors was the recipient of the Energy Star Canada 2019 Manufacturer of the Year award, given in recognition of companies that display market transformation and the ongoing advancement of the “Five A’s”: availability, awareness, accessibility, affordability and acceptability of energy-efficient products.

The company was the first window manufacturer and retailer to qualify for Natural Resources Canada’s Energy Star program. The award makes the fifth Energy Star Canada Award that Centennial Windows and Doors has garnered. In 2009, the company won the Better Business Bureau Business Integrity Award and in 2015 was the winner of the London Chamber of Commerce’s Business Achievement Awards.

“Energy efficiency in our homes and buildings helps Canadians save money, creates jobs, reduces pollution and contributes to our clean energy future,” said the Honorable Amarjeet Sohi, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources. “I congratulate Centennial Windows and Doors for their ongoing leadership in improving energy efficiency in Canada.”

Founded in 1981, and based in London, Ontario, Canada, Centennial Windows and Doors sells, manufactures, installs, and services replacement residential door and windows.

According to a news release from Centennial, amid the 2018 calendar year, the company introduced a product line of Energy Star certified windows; increased its lineup of Energy Star certified door systems by 124% (89 models to 199 models); actively certified and marketed a full window product line that met or exceeded the 2018 Energy Star Most Efficient guidelines; engaged more than 13,000 Ontario-based homeowners to raise awareness for maximizing energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions; and successfully completed more than 800 rebate submissions through the GreenON Rebate incentive program.
