ASSA ABLOY, a Swedish conglomerate whose offerings include products and services related to locks, doors, gates, and entrance automation has announced that the company has acquired Caldwell, a manufacturer of fenestration hardware for window manufacturers.

Caldwell was established in 1888 and has 800 employees.
