AAMA Hosts Update for Canadian Codes and Regulations

January 23rd, 2019 by Editor

With energy codes and regulations slated to increase across Canada in the coming years, the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) has announced that it will host a webinar around those developments. Jeff Baker, Fenestration Canada‘s technical consultant and president of WESTLab Canada, will present the current state of energy codes and regulations, along with proposed changes coming over the next 10 years.

“The energy code and regulation changes being proposed in Canada are going to push the fenestration industry to energy performance levels beyond the capability of current fenestration technology,” Baker says. “The industry needs to be involved in these discussions that will have such a lasting impact on their business.”

The session, “Canadian Energy Codes and Regulations – Where Are They Going?” twill take place at 11:30 a.m. Eastern on Tuesday, January 29. It will also be live-tweeted via AAMA’s Twitter account, using the event hashtag #AAMAwebinar. Registration is complimentary and can be found via AAMA’s website (aama.org).
