AAMA Fall Conference Registration Opens

August 19th, 2016 by Editor

Early bird registration for the upcoming AAMA 2016 National Fall Conference is now open and will be available until September 9. The four-day event takes place September 25-28 at the Hyatt Regency in Savannah, Ga., about eight miles away from the Savannah International Airport. Some long-time favorite activities, including the annual backpack build to aid a local school district and the popular Supplier Product Display, will be included. Sponsorships for the conference are also available.

For the fifth year in a row, AAMA will partner with World Vision for its annual Backpack Build Program. Conference participants’ spouses will work for approximately two hours to fill backpacks with school supplies to equip under-privileged children with essential tools to benefit an area Title I elementary school in Savannah.

A Title I school is defined as one at which the population’s poverty level is at or above 40 percent. Children attending Title I schools are generally in homes where incomes are usually under $23,000 a year.

The goal is 500 backpacks at a total cost of $12,000 ($24/pack). If your company would like to participate, contact Florence Nicolici.

Space is limited for the 2016 Reception/Supplier Product Display , so make sure you sign up early. The fee to display is $425, plus a $30 electrical outlet fee. Set-up for the networking event will begin at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 26.

Visit the AAMA event page to learn more about the event and watch for a registration link, beginning August 17.
